| Total Irrigation System Designed specifically for domestic gardens, 'Total' irrigation provides a new approach to installing automatic irrigation. It is based on a concept of spraying from the edge of the garden into the middle to create an effect like rainfall. Based on the MP Rotator sprinkler head, 'Total’ irrigation is easy to design, quick to fit and makes the most of the pressure and flow available. As this system uses standard 19mm LDPE irrigation pipe and fittings, the material costs are low, installation is simple, and it can be easily connected to a control pack or solenoid valve to make a fully automatic system.

| Total Irrigation Kits To make ordering quick and easy, we have put together all the necessary components for a ‘Total’ sprinkler system as a kit. Simply run the 19mm supply pipe around the boundary of the garden, then mount the sprinklers onto the hardwood stakes (or on fence posts if they are available) so that they spray into the middle, usually in 90o arcs for the corners and 180o arcs for the sides. For new areas of turf mount the small sprinklers onto low stakes positioned just above the planting at the edge of the lawn. This means a simple open garden measuring 8m x 12m can be totally irrigated (lawn and borders) using just one single-zone kit. Two-zone kits are available for larger gardens, and will cover areas up to 140m2. This uses one system for the right-hand side of the garden, and the other for the left.

| | | Total Irrigation Accessories Hardwood stakes are used for mounting the sprinklers and can be either hammered into the ground or concreted in for a more permanent installation. If you want to hide the sprinkler heads within a hedge or planting, pop-up sprinkler bodies can be easily screwed on top of the riser, which will pop up and then disappear out of site when the system is not in use.
