With the development of the Rainsaver pump set, it is now possible to harvest rainwater from any downpipe and move it either to a gravity-fed underground tank, or to an above ground storage tank positioned in a more appropriate area of the garden. The kit takes rainwater directly from the downpipe via a professional quality downpipe filter into a compact 68 litre tank (which can be part buried if required). When the water level reaches a certain level, the float switch activates the pump, diverting the water to your storage tank via 19mm LDPE irrigation pipe and fittings.
